A lab grown diamond is created inside a laboratory using cutting-edge technology that replicates the natural diamond growing process. The result is a man-made diamond that is chemically, physically, and optically the same as those grown beneath the Earth’s surface.
There are two main processes to creating lab grown diamonds.
They are created in chambers where incredibly high pressure and heat are applied to a diamond “seed” over a period of time to allow crystals to grow. Just like a natural diamond, lab grown gemstones have imperfections. After they are grown, the diamonds are sent to be cut and polished to provide that gorgeous sparkle we all love.
