When customers come to our jewellery workshop in Wetherby, the first question is often “how much will this cost me?”. Bespoke work often comes at a premium, and many newcomers don’t have a frame of judgement to estimate a price. Townsends Jewellery Studio offers the services of our leading Yorkshire Jewellers at fair prices. Learn more about the cost of bespoke jewellery with the experts at Townsend Jewellery Studio below.
What is Bespoke Jewellery?
To understand the cost of bespoke jewellery, one first needs to understand what our services entail. At Townsends Jewellery Studio, we design and handcraft gorgeous jewellery pieces to your exact specifications. In addition, we offer a completely bespoke jeweller service, from gold engagement rings to platinum bangles and bracelets.
Our award-winning CAD Design team collaborates with you to help you design the jewellery piece you’ve always imagined and dreamed of. Over a few weeks, you’ll watch your imagination become 3D renders and wax models. From here, you can tweak one design to your heart’s content and choose your precious metal and gemstones.
This is then relayed to our expert Yorkshire jewellers at our high-tech studio. Either with or without your presence, depending on your package. Our jewellers will utilise their over sixty years of experience to lovingly realise your dream jewellery piece.
Our bespoke jewellery is valuated fairly by an IRV certified jewellery appraisal team. IRV certification is backed by the National Association of Jewellers, proving we are on the cutting edge of the jewellery industry.
How Expensive is Bespoke Jewellery?
Our packages at Townsends Jewellery Studio start at just £500 per piece, alongside the additional costs of the precious metals and gemstones. You’ll choose your precious metal and gemstone alongside our expert valuation team to ensure you can design your perfect piece in an affordable price range.
You may need to travel to our Jewellery Studio for your design appointments. Of course, in a post-pandemic world, we are more than happy to call you via Zoom for your design appointment. However, we recommend you come to pick up your bespoke jewellery in person.
How to Pay for Bespoke Jewellery?
Townsends Jewellery Studio takes a 50% deposit after your second appointment. Final payment is then taken when you come to our studio to collect your final piece. We are open to redirection and unique requirements throughout the bespoke jewellery design process. We can take payments in both cash and card.
We hope this guide has helped you understand the cost of bespoke jewellery. Townsends Jewellery Studio is home to over sixty years of experience as leading Yorkshire jewellers.
